Packing name means and a complex of the means providing protection of production from influences of an environment, damages and losses and facilitating process of the reference. Packing renders the big influence on selling and often makes a significant part of cost of the goods. Elements of packing are container (products for accommodation of production) and auxiliary packing means (a film, a paper, a shaving, etc.) or details which in a complex with container or without it carry out function of packing.

Character of packing, kind of container, its capacity specify in standards and specifications each kind or group of the goods.
