Aerodrome / Heliport Chart - ICAO
The main purpose of this card is to provide flight crews with information necessary for the implementation of the ground movement of aircraft from the parking to the runway and from the runway to the parking lot .
On the Aerodrome / Heliport (ICAO) is a schematic of an aerodrome or heliport, which allows the pilot to identify the major landmarks , quickly vacate the runway after landing or heliport landing area and follow the directions to taxi . The maps shows the working area of an aerodrome / heliport , airfield lighting facilities , hangars , buildings, train stations and parking of aircraft / helicopters, as well as various control points required for setting up and testing of navigation systems , and such necessary for flight information, such as carrier the ability of coatings and frequency radio communications.
Published name of the country , the airport , a city which the aerodrome serves and the name of the airfield .
Compulsory scale does not exist, it depends on the size of the working area under the aerodrome facilities and buildings. For the average airfield is the optimal scale of 1:10,000
Infrastructure some airfields so complicated that on the Aerodrome / Heliport (ICAO ) can not be clearly display all the necessary setting for taxiing and parking of aircraft data, so more information is indicated for extra Aerodrome Ground Movement ( ICAO) and the parking map / Docking parked aircraft ( ICAO).
