17 card types recommended by ICAO (DOC 8697-AN/88912). These types of cards provide detailed images of the surface terrain overflown (topography of its territory), the relative position of its points, airfields, RTS data and their location (coordinates) and other aeronautical information.

Groups of cards - seventeen types of cards are arranged in four groups:

Group I: Maps for use for planning purposes (performance calculations)

- Aerodrome obstacles (ICAO), type A mandatory

(Operating Limitations).

- Aerodrome obstacles (ICAO), Type B optional

- Aerodrome obstacles (ICAO), type C conditional

- TERRAIN AND OBSTACLES IN THE AIRPORT (ICAO) (email)

- Map for precision approach mandatory
