The state borders

On the map indicate the state borders , which, however, can be interrupted if they are more difficult to read the important information.

9. Coloring- color used on the cards shall comply with Appendix 3 "color scale".

10. The relief ( topography) and man-made structures - In the case where the map shows relief, he is portrayed in such a way as to meet the needs of those who use the card for:

a) orientation and identification;

b) determination of safe terrain clearance ;

c) a clear understanding of aeronautical information , when it is given ;

d) planning.

Plotted on the map elevations represent some critical points.

11. Prohibited areas , restricted areas and danger zones - When the map shows the prohibited areas , restricted areas, or dangerous areas , it also points to a standard or other designation , however, the letter symbols of nationality may be omitted .

Prohibited areas, restricted and danger areas shall be plotted on aeronautical charts of the world 1:1 000 000 scale , aeronautics maps of scale 1:500 000 , route maps ( ICAO), the approach chart instrument , district maps , maps of the Standard Departure instrument (SID), maps the standard instrument arrival (STAR), maps visual approach and aeronautics small-scale maps .

To designate such zones using one symbol , and the type of zone is determined by the index P, R or D, meaning a corresponding area .

12. Types of ATS airspace - When the image VP ATS on the map indicates its class, type , name or call sign , vertical and horizontal . limits and subject to the use of frequency ( frequency) radio .
