You will be informed about holistic medicine, which is one type of alternative therapies.

Read the list of items that are supposed to be taken into consideration by all doctors. For each item write either WM if you consider it to be taken into consideration by representatives of western medicine or AT if you consider it to be taken into consideration by representatives of alternative therapies. The first one has been done for you.

to treat patient as a series of parts that are all isolated WM
to remove the symptoms until everything’s working well again
to treat the symptoms and not the cause of an illness
to take into account not only the symptoms, but also the age, habits, emotions and life-style of the individual
to try to build the overall picture of the patient
to have a balance, or a harmony, between your mind and your body
to prevent illness
a good diet, with lots of fresh food, not processed food with its preservatives and chemicals
a healthy lifestyle, without too much pressure and worry
to do lots of exercise and rest, not too much, not too little
