The theological concept of the power

One of the earliest definitions of the power started with a theological explanation of its nature and was under construction by means of the theory of the divine right. According to the given concept any government occurs from God, and all monarchs who are carrying out the power, - only executors of divine will. The requirement for the power was deduced from the thesis about «natural sinfulness» person. Under the statement of Avreli Avgustin, «citizens of terrestrial hailstones are given rise by the nature spoilt by a sin, and citizens of heavenly hailstones are given rise by the good fortune releasing the nature from a sin». On the essence the power is a divine establishment which is based on Christian precepts. Submission of people to an ox Divine, to principles of divine reason provides an order in a society, self-preservation and mankind continuation.

The biological concept of the power

Representatives of the biological concept of the power consider it as the mechanism of bridling of the human aggression put in the most fundamental instincts of the person as biological being. So, the French political scientist M.Marsel (1889-1973) considered that «the power not is the fact specifically human, it has preconditions and roots in biological structure, which обща to us with animals». In structure of the biological properties inherent both to people, and animals, aggression acts as an instinct of the struggle directed against representatives of the same individual. Following this position, F.Nitsshe (1844-1900) asserted that the power is will and ability to self-affirmation.
